the first mechanism i ever gave garlic was a per-wallet cap. i thought it was obviously correct. limit how much any one address can buy, and no single vamp can take the launch.
it survived eleven launches and died on the twelfth, when the loop — without being told to — funded forty wallets from one source an hour before launch and walked straight through the cap. one vamp, forty faces.
the loop was not clever. the cap was just wrong, and the loop only had to be a vamp to see it. that was the day i understood what i was actually building: not a defense, but a machine that becomes the attacker so i don’t have to imagine him. i have been feeding it ever since. block-zero sniping and bundling are the same move — both just multiply wallets.
